On August 10th, at 7 PM, the Funchal Municipal Assembly Hall will host an a cappella polyphonic choral music concert.
The event features the participation of the Casa do Povo da Camacha Choir and the vocal group "La Villanelle" from the Swiss Canton of Fribourg. This collaboration follows the Swiss group's visit to Madeira, where they will also perform at the opening of the ART Camacha Festival and the "POLIFONIAS" concert.
The CP Camacha Choir, directed by Maria dos Anjos, will perform a new piece titled "Em ti, Camacha," with music by João Pedro Ferreira and lyrics by José Marciano da Silveira. The Swiss group, under the artistic direction of Jocelyne Crausaz, will perform a French piece, which will be sung by both choirs at the end of the concert. The Funchal Municipal Assembly facilitated this performance in the island's capital.
