Belgium has bolstered its support for France in fighting forest fires by sending an A400M military transport aircraft and a Panther firefighting vehicle.
The A400M aircraft, due to its cargo capacity and mobility, facilitates the rapid deployment of heavy equipment to affected areas, speeding up intervention. The Panther vehicle, typically used at air bases, can carry 10,500 liters of water and project a stream up to 90 meters, features that enable a quick and effective response.
This deployment underscores the significance of international cooperation in large-scale fire situations, where specialized resources and immediate action are crucial.
