The Funchal Natural History Museum will host the launch of the first issue of the Biodiversity Guides of the Madeira Archipelago and Selvagens Islands tomorrow, June 26th, at 4:00 PM. This inaugural edition focuses on the region's butterflies.
Authored by António Franquinho Aguiar, Ricardo Araújo, and Ysabel Gonçalves, the guide will be available in a bilingual edition (Portuguese and English). The preface is written by the President of the Funchal Municipal Assembly, Jorge Carvalho.
The Biodiversity Guides aim to disseminate scientific knowledge and promote environmental awareness, strengthening the connection between society and Madeira's natural heritage.
