The town of Calheta will celebrate the feast of Nossa Senhora dos Bons Caminhos on Sunday, September 27. The Eucharist will begin at 4 PM, followed by a procession.
On Saturday, the festivities commence earlier with a candlelit procession at 7:30 PM, starting from the Municipal Hall. A vigil mass will follow at 8 PM.
Saturday's street party will feature performances by the band Os Lordes and singer João Quintino. On Sunday, entertainment will be provided by Grupo De Canto a Canto and the band Bandalheira. This festival is considered one of the most traditional in the Calheta parish.
