The Carmo Church in Funchal will mark the feast of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, known as the "Missionary of Prayer," on October 1st.
Preparations for the celebration will begin on September 27th with four days of prayer, including the recitation of the rosary at 6:00 PM, followed by Mass.
On the feast day, October 1st, the traditional blessing of roses will take place, a significant moment for the Carmelite community and devotees of the saint. Additionally, from September 14th, regular weekly and Sunday Mass schedules will resume, along with registrations for the first year of Catechesis.
