The CDS-PP Parliamentary Representation in the Legislative Assembly of Madeira presented a Vote of Congratulation for the participation of athletes and officials linked to the Region in the XX Mediterranean Games, held in Taranto, Italy.
The initiative, presented by deputy Sara Madalena, highlights the four athletes who contributed to Portugal's medal count: Ana Brito (gold in canoeing), Rosalina Santos and Bruna Aguiar (gold in relay and football, respectively), and Francisca Henriques (silver in roller speed skating).
The centrist party also acknowledges the performances of other athletes and the leadership of the Portuguese mission by Madeira's João Rodrigues, celebrating Portugal's best-ever result in the Mediterranean Games.
