Circo Mundial Mariani, Lda. has expressed its intention to once again set up its traditional amusement park and circus in the Cais 8 area of Funchal's port for the upcoming Christmas season.
The request has been submitted to APRAM - Administration of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. A public notice has been issued, opening a 30-working-day period for other interested parties to submit proposals or objections regarding the license for the use of an 11,699 square meter area.
The company proposes to pay 81,000 euros, plus VAT, for the space rental, and to offer 500 tickets for an exclusive session for APRAM, mirroring last year's conditions. The operation of the space is planned from November 13, 2026, to January 25, 2027.
