The Czech duo Milan Bydzovsky and Petr Timura, piloting a Peugeot E-2008 GT, were crowned winners of the 2026 Eco Rally Madeira. The competition, part of the FIA Eco Rally Cup and the Campeonato de Portugal de Novas Energias – PRIO, took place across various locations on the island, including Funchal, Calheta, Machico, and Porto Moniz.

In the regularity component, Bydzovsky and Timura also secured first place. The Spanish duo José Perez Aicart/Javier Herrer Alejos won the energy efficiency index, while the women's competition was won by Paula Joaquim/Sofia Escarigo. The event featured 31 teams, including 12 international formations and eight teams from Madeira.

The results of the Eco Rally Madeira have postponed the decision for the Campeonato de Portugal de Novas Energias – PRIO to the final event, the Fafe Eco Rally, in November. The competition highlighted the significance of electric mobility and decarbonization in the automotive sector.
