The Association of Friends of the Ecosystems of the Madeira Archipelago (ECOAMA) marks 30 years of uninterrupted activity with an event program at the Santo da Serra Environmental Education Field.

ECOAMA celebrates 30 years defending Nature and promoting Environmental Education

The Association of Friends of the Ecosystems of the Madeira Archipelago (ECOAMA) celebrates its 30th anniversary of continuous activity dedicated to nature restoration and environmental education on July 11th.

To mark the occasion, the organization has planned a series of activities at the Santo da Serra – Eva and Américo Durão Environmental Education Field. The program includes a guided tour from 10 am to 12 pm, free for members and 10 euros for non-members, followed by a tribute ceremony for deceased volunteers from the past 30 years, from 12 pm to 1 pm.

The day will conclude with a social lunch for members and their families, with different prices for adults and young people, and free for children up to 12 years old. Participation in any activity requires prior registration via email to [email protected] and confirmation.
