Empresa de Electricidade da Madeira (EEM) has announced that the electricity supply will be interrupted in certain areas of Funchal, specifically in the Monte parish.
The power outages are scheduled for July 8, 9, and 10, 2026, between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Affected locations include Caminhos da Lombada and do Lombo, Caminho and Rua da Portada de Santo António, Travessa and Vereda dos Poços, Sítio da Corujeira, Caminho dos Marcos (numbers 51 to 75), Caminhos dos Tornos, da Levada dos Tornos and da Eira do Lombo, and Beco das Eiras.
EEM requests the understanding of consumers for any inconvenience caused and reminds them that, for safety reasons, conductors should be considered permanently live during the interruption periods.
