The Madeira Electricity Company, SA (EEM) has announced interruptions to the electricity supply due to maintenance and renovation work on the distribution network.
These interruptions will affect Ribeira Brava, specifically the Sítio da Encumeada, on June 30, 2026, between 09:00 and 14:00. In Câmara de Lobos, the Sítios do Terço and Levada do Salão will experience outages on the same day, from 09:30 to 11:00.
In Funchal, within the Santa Maria Maior parish, Rampa do Caminho do Pasto (numbers 3 to 5) will have its supply cut off on July 2, 2026, from 09:00 to 12:00. EEM advises that as power may be restored earlier than scheduled, conductors should be considered permanently live for safety reasons. The company requests consumers' understanding for any inconvenience caused.
