A 17-year-old youth, Pedro Rodrigo, has been missing since Wednesday, August 5th. His mother informed the DIÁRIO that he was last seen on Friday in the Rua das Fontes area and Funchal's Old Town.
At the time he was seen, Pedro Rodrigo was wearing black clothing and had an earring in his left ear. His mobile phone is switched off, preventing any contact.
The family has reported the disappearance to the Public Security Police (PSP), but the mother expressed concern about the authorities' response, citing staffing limitations and the assertion that, being 17, he might return home when he wished. The mother has also used social media to ask for help in locating her son.
