The Socorro Church in Funchal will mark the Feast of Saint Padre Pio on September 23rd.
This religious event coincides with the beginning of the novenas dedicated to the church's patroness, Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
The celebration is expected to bring together the faithful to honor both saints.
