The inaugural FinMadeira Summit will be held this Saturday, October 10th, in Funchal. The event, organized by the Association of Connected Madeiran Youth (AJMC), will feature nine speakers discussing crucial issues for the Region's economy and future.
The gathering will take place between 2 PM and 6 PM in the Research Room of the Funchal Cultural and Research Center. The program will cover four main areas: Madeira's Free Trade Zone, tourism and economic diversification, entrepreneurship, and housing. The aim is to bring these topics closer to the community and foster the sharing of perspectives on the challenges and opportunities within the regional economy.
Among the invited speakers are representatives from Nauta, Startup Madeira, Nearsoft, SDM, Fairway Madeira, as well as a former Mayor of Funchal and experts in tourism and statistics. The AJMC intends to engage students, young professionals, and the general community in a space for economic discussion impacting Madeira's development.
