A check based on official tariffs, considering a ship of 129,690 gross tons and a stay under 24 hours, indicates that the comparable cost in Funchal is around 8,608 euros, including Port Usage Fee (TUP), pilotage, and mooring, with a seasonal discount applied. In comparison, the TUP alone in Lisbon for the same ship amounts to approximately 10,462 euros, excluding other services.
Ports such as Kiel in Germany and Gothenburg in Sweden have significantly higher fees. In Kiel, the fee can reach about 54,470 euros per call, while in Gothenburg the estimated cost is around 41,100 euros, even with potential discounts.
