The Parish Council of Imaculado Coração de Maria has approved the launch of its first Participatory Budget, with a total allocation of €25,000. This initiative also introduces a Youth Participatory Budget for residents aged 12 to 25.
Winning projects will be incorporated into the Council's budget for 2027. The process begins with a public launch in September, followed by proposal submissions, community sessions, and support workshops. Council President Pedro Araújo highlighted the project's significance for participatory democracy and youth civic engagement.
