The Lido Gardens will host another edition of the Sport Village #BeActive Active Families event next Saturday, September 26. The event, running from 4 PM to 7 PM, is part of the European Week of Sport and aims to provide a day of socialising and physical activity.
The initiative will offer a variety of free physical and sports activities for participants of all ages. Attendees can try disciplines such as motorsport, badminton, cycling, fencing, golf, karate, karting, pentathlon, tennis, table tennis, sailing, and chess, as well as fitness activities. The activities will be led by sports agents and specialized technicians.
The event is promoted by the Regional Directorate of Sport, in partnership with the Funchal City Council, Frente MarFunchal, sports associations, regional clubs, and Portugal Activo – Madeira Regional Platform.
