Madeira-based company Macedos Pirotecnia has been crowned champion at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026, held in the city of Da Nang, Vietnam. The victory was announced on Saturday, June 11, securing the international fireworks competition trophy for Portugal.
The festival took place from May 30 to July 11, featuring some of the world's most renowned pyrotechnics companies. The Portuguese team competed against representatives from Vietnam, Australia, France, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Macau, among others, distinguishing themselves with their performance.
