The Madeira Regional Section of the Order of Technical Engineers (OET) was represented by a delegation of 20 members at the National Meeting of OET Colleges, held at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP).
The meeting, themed 'Training, Competencies, and Professional Practice,' brought together representatives from various regions of the country to discuss the challenges facing Engineering in Portugal. The Madeiran delegation's participation aimed to assert the region's voice in decisions influencing the profession's future and share experiences with national colleagues.
Discussions focused on professional competencies, regulated acts, and training, concluding with a plenary session. For Madeira, this participation reinforces a commitment to valuing Engineering and its role in regional development.
