Residents of Madeira who have a tax identification number (NIF) can now submit claims for flight refunds to Portugal or the Azores through a designated online platform.
To access this system, individuals must first obtain a Digital Mobile Key (CMD). The recommended method for acquiring the CMD is in person at the Loja do Cidadão in Funchal, or potentially at local council offices.
Once the CMD is secured, residents can log into the platform to submit their refund requests, aiming for a smoother and less stressful experience.
