The Physiotherapists' Order will mark its 7th anniversary on September 30th. The Madeira regional celebration will take place at the Auditorium of Colégio dos Jesuítas of the University of Madeira, in Funchal.
The event, held simultaneously across the organization's five Regional Directorates, will focus on 'Calculating the Value of Physiotherapist Intervention'. The initiative aims to bring the Order closer to entities and personalities involved in Health, Education, and health policy.
The debate on health value is considered central to the sustainability, quality, and equity of health systems. The organization argues that evaluating interventions should go beyond counting acts, considering the effective impact of care on people's lives, such as functionality, autonomy, and quality of life.
