The Municipality of Funchal, through its Youth and Sports Department, is undertaking repair and improvement works at the Prof. Luís Ferreira Sports Field, located in São Gonçalo.
The work, scheduled from September 21 to October 6, 2026, aims to enhance the playing surface and bolster the safety, comfort, and quality of the facilities. The sports field will be temporarily closed during this period to allow for the safe completion of the renovations.
This project is part of the municipality's strategy for the continuous enhancement of sports infrastructure, contributing to better conditions for sports practice and the well-being of the community.
