PSD/Madeira is organizing its traditional Chão da Lagoa Festival, calling for the event to be a moment of unity for "all Madeirans". The festival aims to foster fellowship among the party's members and sympathizers.
The program includes a visit from party leader Miguel Albuquerque to the grounds, where parish political commissions and party nuclei will be present. Political speeches are scheduled for the afternoon, and admission is free, with parking and a kindergarten area also provided at no cost.
Musical entertainment throughout the day will feature artists such as Syro and Marotos da Concertina, among others. Transportation is available from various parishes on the island and regular connections with Funchal, as well as transport for PSD members from Porto Santo.
