The Public Security Police (PSP) in Madeira has released data on road accidents that occurred between September 11 and 17, recording a total of 79 incidents.
These accidents resulted in one fatality, one serious injury, and 16 minor injuries. The majority of accidents, 33 in total, took place in the Funchal municipality. 61 collisions and 14 run-offs were recorded.
Furthermore, the PSP conducted enforcement operations that led to the arrest of 18 individuals for road traffic offenses, including 12 for driving under the influence of alcohol.
