The Regional Government, meeting in plenary today, decided to award the contract for the «Reformulação do Nó de Santo António e Acessos» to TECNOVIA Madeira, Sociedade de Empreitadas, S.A., for a contract price of €7,380,000.01, plus VAT at the legal rate. The execution period is 720 days.
At the same meeting, spending of up to €2.9 million was authorised for the «Ribeiro Seco» drainage works. AFAVIAS – Engenharia e Construções, S.A. was also awarded the slope stabilisation works at Lombo das Faias on ER 110 for €437,803.34, plus VAT, with a 120-day deadline.
The government also agreed to expropriate two plots of land needed for the reconstruction of ER 209 between Salões/Barreiro and Ponta do Sol, for a combined €11,915.82.
