The Regional Secretary of Education, Science and Technology, Elsa Fernandes, attended the First 'Ponto e Vírgula' Conference, marking the start of the academic year for the project involving the Secretariat, PLAZA, MEO, and Diário de Notícias da Madeira.
Elsa Fernandes highlighted the project's importance in developing students' skills, emphasizing that education encompasses more than just knowledge, including the ability to read, comprehend, question, and communicate. The initiative encourages students to engage beyond the classroom, fostering media and digital literacy.
The conference also served as an occasion to renew the cooperation protocol between the Regional Secretariat of Education and PLAZA Madeira, with representatives from the 15 participating secondary schools present.
