University students from the municipality of Ribeira Brava attending higher education institutions in the Lisbon metropolitan area can now apply for a place at the Calhariz University Residence in Benfica.
Applications are open until August 9th, via an online form provided by the Municipal Chamber. This initiative stems from a collaboration agreement between the Ribeira Brava Municipal Chamber and the Benfica Parish Council, aimed at supporting local families with the accommodation costs for students studying away from home.
The residence, managed by the Parish Council, offers 120 beds and this partnership provides a more affordable alternative to Lisbon's rental market for students from Ribeira Brava.
