São Gonçalo Supports Births with Financial Aid to 17 Families

The São Gonçalo Parish Council provided financial support to 17 families with newborns, reinforcing its commitment to new generations.

The São Gonçalo Parish Council held a ceremony to distribute financial aid to 17 families with recently born babies in the parish. This initiative aims to support new generations and build a more cohesive, supportive community prepared for the future.

The program, fully funded by the Parish Council, has an annual maximum allocation of 6,500 euros and aims to alleviate the costs associated with the birth or adoption of a child. Each family received a 200-euro support card for essential expenses. Since 2022, over 70 families have benefited from this program, with a total amount exceeding 15,000 euros.
