The São José de Cluny Higher Nursing School celebrates 78 years of activity in training nursing professionals in Madeira. Since its founding, the institution has progressively expanded its training offerings to meet societal and healthcare sector needs.

Currently, the school offers a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, five postgraduate courses, and five Master's degrees, spread across eight specialization areas. The institution also emphasizes the role of scientific research, community engagement, and internationalization. Training is guided by respect for human dignity, human rights, and scientific evidence, aiming to contribute to the quality of healthcare.
