Regarding Venezuela, official seismological portal Funvisis confirmed the event but did not provide detailed information on the time, depth, and epicenter of the 6.8 magnitude quake. The region has recently experienced seismic activity, including a 6.1 magnitude earthquake in the northwest, which was also felt in Colombia.
