TAP launches new direct route between Porto and Sal Island in Cape Verde

TAP Air Portugal will operate a new direct connection between Porto and Sal Island, Cape Verde, starting from October 25.

TAP Air Portugal has announced the launch of a new route that will directly connect Porto to Sal Island in Cape Verde. This new intercontinental connection will begin operations on October 25.

The flights, operated on A320neo aircraft, will depart on Thursdays and Sundays at 8:50 PM, arriving at 12:20 AM. In the opposite direction, flights will depart from Sal on Fridays and Mondays at 1:20 AM, arriving in Porto at 6:40 AM. During the IATA summer period, schedules will differ slightly, with departures on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

This new route strengthens TAP's offering from Porto, which already includes connections to New York, Boston, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Luanda, Praia City, London, Paris, Zurich, and Geneva, as well as flights to Terceira Island in the Azores.
