The Madeira archipelago is expected to experience generally very cloudy skies and light winds, below 15 kilometers per hour, this Tuesday, September 22. The forecast comes from the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
The Funchal area will see a similar scenario, with predominantly very cloudy skies and light winds. Temperatures are predicted to range between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius in Funchal and between 20 and 26 degrees in Porto Santo.
Regarding sea conditions, the North coast can expect waves from the North between 1 and 1.5 meters, shifting to Northwest in the afternoon. South coast waves should be less than one meter. Sea water temperature is expected to be between 23 and 25 degrees Celsius.
