A 410-kilogram blue marlin was brought to the Madeira fish market on Tuesday at 4 PM.
The fish was captured by the vessel captained by Filipe Mendes. The death of the animal is considered an unusual occurrence, as this species is typically caught and released.
Due to this circumstance, the blue marlin will be donated to the Nossa Senhora da Conceição Foundation.
