The Folk Group from Casa do Povo de Água de Pena will travel to Lousada between August 21st and 24th to participate in the III Folklore Encounter, an initiative organized by the Associação Figueiras e Covas.
This participation offers an opportunity to promote and value Madeira's traditional culture outside the Autonomous Region. The group will share traditions, music, songs, and customs with other folklore groups, fostering cultural exchange between different regions of the country.
The event facilitates contact with other aspects of Portuguese folklore, enabling the exchange of experiences and knowledge.
