Ajuda a Alimentar Cães Association Seeks Help for Rescued Dog Found in Seizures

The Ajuda a Alimentar Cães (AAC) association conducted a rescue operation for a dog found having seizures in public. After an initial unsuccessful attempt, the team returned the next day and managed to rescue the animal, transporting it to a veterinary clinic for emergency treatment.

The dog, named Parri, is currently hospitalized for examinations and treatments, but the AAC admits it lacks the financial capacity to cover the expenses. The organization is facing a shortage of food and donations, exacerbated by the summer season, which typically sees more abandonments and fewer contributions.

The AAC is appealing to the public for donations via MB Way, bank transfer, or PayPal to ensure Parri has a chance at recovery and a life with care and security. The Funchal-based association rescues abandoned, hungry, sick, or mistreated animals daily across the entire island of Madeira.
