Miguel Albuquerque stated he is "almost certain" that bids will be submitted for the third phase of Madeira's Central and University Hospital. The deadline for submitting proposals is October 13.
The international public tender has a base price of €415 million and covers general infrastructure, finishing works, and technical installations for the future hospital. The tender notice was published in September.
The previous tender attracted no bids, despite an extended deadline. The base price was subsequently increased from €265 million to €415 million.
