The President of the Regional Government of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, has expressed strong confidence that the public tender for the third phase of the Central and University Hospital of Madeira will attract bidders.
The deadline for submitting proposals for the project, with a base price of 415 million euros, is tomorrow. Albuquerque stated he is "almost certain" there will be interested parties, although he did not confirm if any bids have been submitted yet.
This new attempt follows the previous tender for this phase being left without offers. The base price was increased from 265 million to 415 million euros. Bids will be analyzed after the deadline as part of an international public procurement process.
