When confronted with agricultural land being replaced by housing developments, Albuquerque stated that the real estate market's advance signifies a structural transformation, not the end of the sector. He emphasized that agriculture's sustainability depends on its financial profitability.
Albuquerque also highlighted the quantitative success of the current wine campaign, with production reaching 2,805 tons so far, and reiterated that agriculture and wine production remain profitable activities on the island.
