The Government of the Republic has extended the transitional regime of the Social Mobility Subsidy (SSM) until June 30, 2027, enabling the resumption of the student support program.
Miguel Albuquerque stated that the reported issues with some users experiencing difficulties obtaining travel reimbursements at CTT are temporary and that the service will be reinstated. "You will pay, because it has been extended for another year," reminded the President of the Regional Government, expressing satisfaction with the measure.
Albuquerque also expressed hope that the absence of a maximum spending cap will not cause future problems, emphasizing the program's importance for Madeiran families.
