A vehicle suffered significant material damage this Friday in Paul da Serra, Madeira Island, after an animal unexpectedly crossed the roadway.
The driver was unable to avoid the collision, which caused considerable damage to the car, apparently belonging to a rental company. It is believed the animal may have been a cow or calf, though this has not been confirmed. Fire services were not called, suggesting no injuries occurred.
