Tomás Nunes, a student from APEL School in Funchal, won a bronze medal at the XXIX Ibero-American Physics Olympiad (OIbF).
The event took place in João Pessoa, Brazil, from September 25 to October 1, 2026.
Portugal's team of four students achieved two silver and two bronze medals, with all participants receiving an award.
