The Cabo Girão viewpoint has generated 2.2 million euros in revenue by July of this year.
Nearly 447,000 paying visitors passed through the site during the first seven months, an 85% increase compared to the total revenue from all of 2025.
The Câmara de Lobos has expressed a desire for the revenue generated by the viewpoint to benefit the municipality directly.
