The President of the Regional Government, Miguel Albuquerque, visited Monte Palace Madeira Garden, expressing his support for the site's nomination for the New 7 Wonders of Portugal 2026, in the Tourism category.
Albuquerque highlighted the garden's beauty and botanical diversity, calling it "one of the most pleasant and beautiful places on the island." He emphasized the variety of species from around the world, favored by Madeira's subtropical climate.
