The celebrations for the 191st anniversary of the municipality of Câmara de Lobos started this morning with a solemn mass at the Mother Church, followed by the flag-raising at the Municipal Hall.
A parade of vehicles from the Volunteer Firefighters of Câmara de Lobos marked one of the first public moments of the program, travelling through the city streets. The program also includes a solemn commemorative session at the Press Museum – Madeira, with speeches from municipal and regional representatives.
The Day of the Municipality of Câmara de Lobos marks 191 years of history and includes institutional, cultural, and public recognition moments.
