The CDS-PP Political Commission of Câmara de Lobos has expressed its deep sorrow over the passing of Francisco de Assis Barradas, described as a leading businessman and an undeniable figure in the economic and business fabric of the municipality.
According to a press release, Barradas was distinguished by his dedication to work, entrepreneurial spirit, and decisive contribution to the development of Câmara de Lobos. As a partner in Panidoce, a company that became a regional benchmark, he helped create wealth and employment, establishing the municipality's name in the baking sector. He was also associated with the operation of the local quarry, an activity that marked an era and contributed to local economic growth.
In 2023, Francisco de Assis Barradas was honored with the Municipal Merit Medal – Gold Grade. The CDS-PP of Câmara de Lobos believes the municipality has lost a man who set an example for several generations of entrepreneurs and extended condolences to his family and friends.
