Clube Naval do Funchal achieved success at the Taça de Portugal de Esperanças, which took place in Vila Nova da Barquinha, Santarém. Canoeist Joana Nascimento won first place in the SUPC Infantil Feminino category.
Carlota Rodrigues secured second place in SUPC Cadete Feminino. The pair Ana Matias and Lara Gomes finished fifth in K2 Cadete Feminino, and Ivan Yuzik placed sixth in SUPC Infantil.
