The Funchal Municipal Chamber (CMF) has presented the Funchal Rooftop Festival, an event scheduled to take place between September 25 and October 3. This multidisciplinary festival encompasses various artistic and cultural areas, including painting, photography, plastic arts, music, gastronomy, and astronomical observation.
The musical program aims to cater to diverse tastes, ranging from classical music and jazz to electronic and commercial music. The objective is to showcase the city from its rooftops, utilizing spaces with privileged views of the sea, mountains, and urban landscape. The festival is free and organized around World Tourism Day.
Due to capacity limitations, pre-registration will be required. Participating venues include Castanheiro Boutique Hotel, Barceló Funchal Oldtown, Ecological Park Observatory, Lido Bathing Complex, City Hall Tower, Sacred Art Museum, Vila Guida Viewpoint, The Vine Hotel, and Three House Rooftop Cocktail Club.
