The Câmara Municipal of Câmara de Lobos has given the green light to the Curral das Freiras cable car project, approving its urban planning license.
The decision was made conditional on the creation of 100 new parking spaces, a measure deemed essential for mitigating mobility impacts and meeting local needs.
The cable car aims to connect Curral das Freiras to Boca da Corrida, presented as a strategic infrastructure to enhance the territory, boost the local economy, and diversify tourism offerings.
