Curral das Freiras will celebrate the festival in honor of Saint Clare on August 8, 9, and 11.
The organization describes the days as "days of faith, tradition, music, flavors, reunions, and much sharing," where the streets come alive and families gather.
The program includes an opening on Saturday, August 8, with an exhibition of handicrafts, dance and folklore performances, a mass, and a concert, culminating in the opening of the Gastronomic Fair. On Sunday, August 9, there will be a Eucharist, procession, and performances by a philharmonic band and a folklore group. The festival concludes on Tuesday, August 11, with a mass and a gathering.
