The chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Mount, the seat of the parish of Christ the King in the Ponta do Sol parish, will host a festival in her honor.
The celebrations will begin on Friday, August 14th, with a firecracker display and the collection of donations for the bazaar, followed by a novena and vigil mass. The evening will feature musical performances and fireworks.
On Saturday, August 15th, the main day will include the festival's Eucharist, a procession, and the traditional auction of donations at the bazaar. The day will be enlivened by musical performances, including the Mariachi group and the band Banda Fixe.
